Elizabeta Gjorgievska ( mk, Елизабета Ѓоргиевска; born 6 May 1972) is a Macedonian physician who is the wife of the fifth President of North Macedonia, President Stevo Pendarovski and First Lady of North Macedonia since 2019. Biography Gjorgievska was born on 6 May 1972 in Skopje. In March 1996, she graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Skopje (now the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje). Since 1998, she studied at the magistracy at the same faculty and in 2002, she defended her Ph.D. thesis, and in 2006, a doctoral dissertation. From 1997 to 1998, Gjorgievska worked as a volunteer at the Clinic of Maxillofacial Surgery, and in 1998, she became as a doctor at the Clinic of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. Stevo Pendarovski ( mk, Стево Пендаровски, ; born 3 April 1963) is a Macedonian politician who serves as the 5th and current President of North Macedonia since 12 May 2019. Early life and education Stevo Pendarovski was born on 3 April 1963 in Skopje. His family originates from Galičnik. He grew up in post-earthquake Skopje. His parents were teachers. Pendarovski started his elementary studies at the then-Dositej Obradovikj School in Skopje (current-day Panajot Ginovski School) while he finished his secondary studies at the Cvetan Dimov gymnasium. Boris Trajkovski (GCMG) ( mk, Борис Трајковски, pronounced ; 25 June 1956 – 26 February 2004) was a Macedonian politician who served as the second President of Macedonia from 1999 until his death in 2004 in a plane crash. Trajkovski was born into a Methodist family. His father, Kiro, who died in September 2008, was a landworker who had served in the Bulgarian Army and had been imprisoned for two years for feeding prisoners of war. Trajkovski graduated in 1980 with a degree in law from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He subsequently specialized in commercial and employment law and made several visits to the United States, where he studied theology to become a Methodist lay minister. Branko Crvenkovski ( mk, Бранко Црвенковски, pronounced ; born 12 October 1962) is a Macedonian politician who served as Prime Minister of Macedonia from 1992 to 1998 and again from 2002 to 2004, and as President of Macedonia from 2004 to 2009.
