Fireflight
Fireflight is an American Christian rock band formed in Eustis, Florida in 1999. The band was signed by Flicker Records. The band currently consists of Dawn Michele, Glenn and Wendy Drennen and Justin Cox (who left in 2013 but rejoined in 2019). They have released seven studio albums and has played in tours including ShoutFest, Revelation Generation and Winter Jam. They have also been featured on The Scars Remain tour with Disciple, Family Force 5, and Decyfer Down. Their fourth full-length album ''For Those Who Wait'' (2010) was nominated in the 2011 Grammy Awards. Their most recent album, ''Who We Are: The Head and the Heart'', was released in October 2020. Innova (album)
''Innova'' (stylized, ''INNOVA'') is the sixth studio album by Fireflight. The band independently released the album on May 5, 2015. This album was funded by a crowdfunding project. Fireflight worked with Geoff Duncan, Joshua Silverberg, Rusty Varenkamp, and Kipp Williams in the production and writing of this album, with vocalist Dawn Michele being the only band member to contribute compositions. Unbreakable (Fireflight Album)
''Unbreakable'' is the third full-length studio album released by Christian rock band Fireflight, but second full-length to be released on Flicker Records. The album was released on March 4, 2008, on Flicker Records. Lead vocalist Dawn Michele said that the recording process was "one of the most hectic times in our lives because we had about six years to write the first album and about six months to write the second one". ''For Those Who Wait'' is the fourth full-length studio album released by Christian rock band Fireflight. The album was released on February 9, 2010 on Flicker Records. Release and promotion On February 2, 2010 until the release of the album, Fireflight posted their lead track, "For Those Who Wait", for free to download on Amiestreet. ''For Those Who Wait'' was released on February 9, 2010. It peaked at No. 5 on the '' Billboard'' Top Christian Albums chart, No. 16 Alternative Albums and No. 96 on the ''Billboard'' 200. It was their highest CD on the chart, selling over 15,000 copies in its first week. The Japanese bonus track, "Proof of Our Love", was given out to fans via e-mail on February 9, 2010. Josh Brown (musician)
Joshua Brown (born 1976) is an American singer who is best known as the lead vocalist of Christian rock band Day of Fire. He was also the original lead vocalist of Full Devil Jacket and was a featured vocalist on Fireflight's hit song "You Decide" from their album ''The Healing of Harms''. Biography Early life and Full Devil Jacket Josh Brown wanted to be a rock-star at a very early age. He began songwriting at the age of 14, forming a band called Sludge. At the age of 15 he was already partying, doing drugs, and drinking heavily. He started a new heavy metal band called the Voodoo Hippies in 1993 (they changed their to name to Full Devil Jacket in 1995 after discovering a Detroit band already had that name). Disciple is an American Christian metal and rock band from Knoxville, Tennessee, formed in 1992. Since its formation, the band has released 12 studio albums, 3 extended plays, 1 live extended play, and 1 compilation album. History Early releases (1992ā€“1998) Disciple was formed in December 1992 by high school friends Kevin Young, Brad Noah, Adrian DiTommasi and Tim Barrett.
