Fire And Rain (film)
''Fire and Rain'' is a 1989 American made-for-television disaster film directed by Jerry J. Jameson, starring Charles Haid, Angie Dickinson, and Tom Bosley, as well as an all-star ensemble television cast in supporting roles. It is based on the Delta Air Lines Flight 191 plane crash at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on August 2, 1985, as depicted in ''Fire and Rain: A Tragedy in American Aviation'' (1986) by Jerome Greer Chandler. Jerry J. Jameson had become known for his work on "movie-of-the-week phenomenon and group-jeopardy suspense and terror", although he also became a specialist in "one-off" television and film features. Jerry Jameson (born November 26, 1934) is an American television program, television and film director, film editing, editor and film producer, producer. John Beck (actor)
John Beck (born January 28, 1943) is an American retired actor, known for his role as Mark Graison in the television series ''Dallas'' during the mid-1980s. Early life Beck was born in Chicago, Illinois but he grew up in Evanston and Joliet on his father's ranch with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. His goals changed at the age of sixteen after performing in a play in high school to overcome shyness. Three years later, Beck moved to California and took jobs in television commercials. The Lockheed L-1011 TriStar, also known as the L-1011 (pronounced "El-ten-eleven") and TriStar, is an American medium-to-long-range, wide-body trijet airliner built by the Lockheed Corporation.
