AAG TV ( ) was a youth entertainment channel in Pakistan, owned by Independent Media Corporation. Launched in 2006 by Geo Television Network, it was associated with Fire Records, a record label in Pakistan. Certain notable artists within the Pakistani music industry were signed by Fire Records. Jawad Ahmed is a Pakistani pop singer and musician. Jawad Ahmed is currently chairman of Barabri Party Pakistan. Early life and career Jawad Ahmad was born into a Kashmiri family who immigrated to Pakistan after independence. Both his parents were college professors. Jawad Ahmad received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. The Sketches () is a Sufi folk rock band from Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan, created by young musician Saif Samejo. Strings (band)
Strings () was a Pakistani pop/rock band composed of two members, plus four live band members from Karachi, Pakistan. The band was initially formed by four college students—Bilal Maqsood (vocals and guitars), Faisal Kapadia (vocals), Rafiq Wazir Ali (synthesizer) and Kareem Bashir Bhoy (bass guitar)—in 1988. In 1992 the quartet disbanded, only to make a comeback with Maqsood and Kapadia in 2000. While the initial band rode the new wave of Pakistani pop music, the later lineup ushered a revival in the Music of Pakistan, Pakistani music industry. In 1990 the band signed with EMI Records and released their debut album, ''Strings (Strings album), Strings''. Roxen ( ) is a Pakistani rock band from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The band had a debut studio album '' Rozen-e-Deewar'', released in 2006. Following this, the band had singles "Toh Phir Aao" and "Tera Mera Rishta" which featured as soundtracks for the Bollywood movie ''Awarapan'' in 2007. Music Roxen was formed back in September 2002 with initial line up of Mustafa "Musti" Zahid, Jawad, known onstage as Jodi, and Omar. Their debut song was "Yaadein".
