Fiorentino Sullo
Fiorentino Sullo (1921–2000) was an Italian politician who was a member of the Christian Democracy. He held several cabinet posts, including minister public works. Early life and education Sullo was born in Paternopoli on 29 March 1921. He graduated from the faculty of literature and philosophy at the University of Naples. Then he received a degree in law from the University of Naples in March 1949. Career and activities Following his graduation Sullo worked as a history and philosophy teacher in high schools from 1944 to 1946. He became a member of Christian Democracy in April 1944. In 1946 he was elected to the Constituent Assembly from the Salerno-Avellino district. He represented the party at the Parliament for eight terms between 1948 and 1987 with a one-term interruption from1976 to 1979. Mariano Rumor
Mariano Rumor (; 16 June 1915 – 22 January 1990) was an Italian politician and statesman. A member of the Christian Democracy (DC), he served as the 39th Prime Minister of Italy from December 1968 to August 1970 and again from July 1973 to November 1974. As Prime Minister, he led five different governments, supported by various coalitions. Rumor served as Minister of Agriculture from 1959 to 1963, Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1974 to 1976, and Minister of the Interior in two brief periods, in 1963 and from 1972 to 1973.
