Fintan McAllister
Fintan Patrick McAllister (born 9 February 1987 in Dublin, Republic of Ireland) an Irish cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. He has represented the Ireland national side, Ireland national under-19 cricket team in 2006, and also played for the Irish Under-23 team. Playing career He represented Ireland in the 2005 European Under-19 Championship as well as the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Generally speaking, McAllister is an opening batsman. He has since upgraded to the Irish Under-23s team, where he has participated in the 2006 European Under-23 Championship. He plays cricket domestically for Malahide Cricket Club as well as for Leinster Lightning in Dublin. Malahide Cricket Club
Malahide Cricket Club was founded in 1861 and is situated within Malahide Castle demesne, near the railway station. The club has over 400 members and is open all year round. The club currently fields 20 teams (5 Senior Men’s, 2 Ladies, Development XI, 12 youth and a Taverners side). The club has won a number of honours in its history, most notably the Irish Senior Cup in 2002 (Men's) and the Ladies' Senior Cup and Pilkington Plate competitions. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). David McAllister (footballer)
David James McAllister (born 29 December 1988) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in Drogheda in the Republic of Ireland he started his senior career with Drogheda United before spells with Shelbourne and St. Patrick's Athletic. In 2011, he moved to England to play for Sheffield United, where he remained for two years before switching to Shrewsbury Town and then Stevenage. He later returned to Ireland with Shamrock Rovers where he retired.
