Finlay Cameron
Finlay Arthur Cameron (22 June 1886 – 21 February 1959) was an Australian politician. He was born in Wauraltee in South Australia to farmer George Muir Cameron and Elizabeth Jane Miller. His family moved to Victoria in 1891 and Cameron attended state schools before inheriting property at Bangerang in 1909. In 1911 he married May Victoria Marshman, with whom he had seven children. As a farmer he was an executive member of the Victorian Wheatgrowers' Association from 1927 to 1932. A member of the Country Progressive Party in the 1920s, he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly in 1935 as the Country Party member for Kara Kara and Borung. Wauraltee, South Australia
__NOTOC__ Wauraltee is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located on the Yorke Peninsula about west of the state capital of Adelaide and about south-west of the municipal seat of Maitland. Wauraltee's boundaries were created on 27 May 1999 and given the “local established name” which is derived from a local aboriginal word. The 2016 Australian census which was conducted in August 2016 reports that Wauraltee had a population of 56 people. John Pennington (politician)
John Warburton Pennington (29 August 1870 – 5 April 1945) was an Australian politician. He was born in Navarre to hotelier and grazier Daniel Pennington and Helen Creamer. He attended Queen's College, Melbourne, and worked for a St Arnaud storekeeper before establishing his own store at Bealiba. In 1894 he married Ellen Sara Tantau, with whom he had five children. He served on Bet Bet Shire Council from 1900 to 1907 and was president from 1906 to 1907. In 1913 he won a by-election for the Victorian Legislative Assembly seat of Kara Kara. He was defeated in 1917, but on a recount was reseated in early 1918. He transferred to Kara Kara and Borung in 1927. He was Assistant Minister of Agriculture from November 1920 to February 1921 and from July 1921 to September 1923, and then Minister of Forests, Agriculture, Markets and Immigration from 1928 to 1929 and Minister of Public Instruction from 1932 to 1935. The City of Moorabbin was a local government area about southeast of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The city covered an area of , and existed from 1862 until 1994. History Moorabbin was first incorporated as a road district on 16 May 1862. It became a shire on 27 January 1871, and was essentially rural in character, relying on the villages on its western side for services. As regions on the coast became more urban in character, local severance movements successfully obtained their own local governments. On 3 April 1912, one part was united with the Town of Brighton to the northwest. On 28 February 1917, the Borough of Sandringham split away, while on 26 May 1920, the Borough of Mentone and Mordialloc also split away. Sir Albert Arthur Dunstan, KCMG (26 July 1882 – 14 April 1950) was an Australian politician. A member of the Country Party (now National Party), Dunstan was the 33rd premier of Victoria. His term as premier was the second-longest in the state's history, behind Sir Henry Bolte. Dunstan, who was premier from 2 April 1935 to 14 September 1943, and again from 18 September 1943 to 2 October 1945, was the first premier of Victoria to hold that office as a position in its own right, and not just an additional duty taken up by the Treasurer, Attorney-General or Chief Secretary.
