FIBA Under-21 World Championship
The FIBA Under-21 World Championship was a men's under-21-only basketball competition organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). It was known as the FIBA 22 & Under World Championship before FIBA lowered the age limit to 21 years in December 1998, and had its name changed to World Championship for Young Men. Finland Men's National Basketball Team
The Finland men's national basketball team ( fi, Suomen koripallomaajoukkue, sv, Finlands herrlandslag i basket) represents Finland in international basketball competition. The national team is governed by Basketball Finland. Finland has played in 17 EuroBasket tournaments, with their best finish coming in sixth place at EuroBasket 1967 on home soil. The national team has also reached the Olympic Games twice, in 1952 as the host, and 1964. In 2014, Finland qualified for their first ever appearance to the FIBA World Cup.
