Financial District (Metromover Station)
Financial District is a Metromover station in the Brickell neighborhood of Downtown, Miami, Florida. The station is located near the intersection of Southeast 14th Street and Brickell Avenue, just one block east of South Miami Avenue and south of Coral Way. It opened to service May 26, 1994 and is the southern terminus of the people mover system. This station marks the beginning and end of the line for the Brickell loop. After a train reaches this final station, the train will return to complete another full loop around the neighborhoods of Brickell and Downtown Miami. Station layout The platform is a half-island design with the tracks running along the north end, providing only a one-side loading and unloading platform. Brickell Arch is an office skyscraper in Brickell in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. It was designed by the architectural firm of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC (KPF). The , 36-story building is located on the southern end of Brickell Avenue in the Financial District. Villa Magna Condominiums
The Villa Magna Condominium Complex was an urban development that was planned to rise on a plot in Brickell, Downtown Miami, downtown Miami, Florida. It was approved in 2006 by the city council and the Federal Aviation Administration and construction was slated to begin in April 2007. The ending date was approximated to be late 2008 or early 2009; however, the Great Recession in the United States, housing crisis of the late 2000s halted the project.
