Filiberto Scarpelli
Filiberto Scarpelli (29 June 1870 –20 August 1933) was an Italian cartoonist, caricaturist, illustrator and journalist. Life and career Born in Naples, the brother of the illustrator Tancredi, Scarpelli graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli.Francesca Tancini (2018).Scarpelli, Filiberto. He then moved to Rome, where he started his professional career in the magazine ''Orazio Coccola''. ''Il Popolo d'Italia'' ("The People of Italy") was an Italian newspaper published from 15 November 1914 until 24 July 1943. It was founded by Benito Mussolini as a pro-war newspaper during World War I, and it later became the main newspaper of the Fascist movement in Italy after the war.
