Figure Skating At The 2012 Winter Youth Olympics – Team Trophy
The Mixed-NOCs participation at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, mixed NOC team figure skating competition of the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics was held at the Olympiahalle (Innsbruck), Olympiahalle in Innsbruck. The eight teams were composed of one men's single skater, one ladies' single skater, and one ice dancing duo, each performing a free program or free dance. Pairs were not included due to the low number of entries (five pairs total). Teams The skaters who took part the team trophy was determined by draw. The result of the draw was that none of the ladies' medalists, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Adelina Sotnikova and Li Zijun, could take part in this competition. Results Due to a tie between the two top ranked teams, a tie breaking procedure was used, taking into consideration the two best places of the concerned teams in different categories. Olympiahalle (Innsbruck)
Olympiahalle is an indoor sports venue located in Innsbruck, Austria. During the 1964 Winter Olympics, it hosted the Figure skating at the 1964 Winter Olympics, figure skating and Ice hockey at the 1964 Winter Olympics, ice hockey events. Twelve years later, at the 1976 Winter Olympics, it again hosted Figure skating at the 1976 Winter Olympics, figure skating and Ice hockey at the 1976 Winter Olympics, ice hockey. Twelve years later, Olympic competitions were again held at the Olympiahalle. For the 2005 IIHF World Championship, it was renovated and built a smaller ice rink. The capacity is approximately 7,800 spectators at the Olympiahalle in Innsbruck, and approximately 3,200 in the smaller hall, the Tyrolean Ice Arena next door. The smaller hall hosts the HC Innsbruck for its games. In 2024 it will host the 2024 European Women's Handball Championship. Estelle Elizabeth (born 29 June 1996) is a French ice dancer. She and former partner Romain Le Gac represented France at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics and at two World Junior Championships, achieving their best result, 11th, in 2014. Career Elizabeth debuted on the junior international level with Romain Le Gac in the 2010–11 season. In January 2012, they represented France at the Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, placing 6th in the short dance, 5th in the free dance, and 5th overall. They won bronze in the team event. Elizabeth/Le Gac finished 15th at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Milan after ranking 13th in the short and 18th in the free dance. They placed 11th in both segments and 11th overall at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria. Park So-youn (, born October 24, 1997) is a retired South Korean figure skater. She is the 2012 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy champion, the 2014 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy bronze medalist, the 2015 South Korean national champion, and a three-time South Korean national silver medalist (2012–2014).
