Field Hockey At The 2022 South American Games
Both the men's and the women's field hockey competitions at the 2022 South American Games were the fourth inclusion of hockey at the South American Games. Both tournaments were held in conjunction with one another between 3 – 12 October 2022 at Centro Nacional de Hockey in Luque, Paraguay. The top two teams in each tournament will qualify for the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Luque
Luque () is a city in Central Department of Paraguay, part of the Gran Asunción metropolitan area. Both 1635 and 1750 have been recorded as dates of its founding. MatÃas Alejandro Rey (born 1 December 1984) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a defender for the Argentine national team. Rey joined Real Club de Polo in Spain in 2005 and after fifteen consecutive seasons, he will return to Argentina at the end of 2020. Fernando Andrés Renz Boher (born 15 February 1994) is a Chilean field hockey player. Personal life Fernando Renz is the oldest of three brothers, with siblings Nicolás and Felipe also representing Chile. Renz studied at the Universidad de Chile.
