Fidea Cyclocross Classics
Baloise-Trek Lions (UCI Code: TBL) is a UCI Continental cycling team based in Belgium which focuses predominantly on the cyclo-cross season. The team is named after its main sponsors Baloise and Trek. The team had various different names in the past amongstr which Spaar-Select and Telenet-Fidea. Previous leaders of the team are the former Cyclo-Cross World Champions – Erwin Vervecken and Bart Wellens as well as the double Under 23 Cyclo-Cross World Champion, Zdeněk Štybar. Kevin Pauwels also rode for the team. The team manager is Sven Nys and the directeur sportifs include two former Cyclo-Cross World Champions – Danny De Bie and Roland Liboton. The Cyclo-cross Koppenberg is a cyclo-cross race held in Oudenaarde, Belgium, which is part of the X²O Badkamers Trophy. UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships
The UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships are the world championships for cyclo-cross organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). Starting in 2020, six events are organized each year – men's elite, women's elite, men's under 23, women's under 23, men's under 18 (Men's Juniors), and women's under 18 (Women's Juniors). Traditionally, the elite events are held on a Sunday with the other events held on the Saturday the day before. The UCI awards a gold medal and a rainbow jersey to the winner. Silver and bronze medals are awarded to the second and third place contestants. World champions wear their rainbow jersey until the following year's championship, but they may wear it only in the type of event in which they won it.
