Fictionist
Fictionist is an American alternative rock band from Provo, Utah, United States, with origins in Salt Lake City and Sacramento. The band consists of Stuart Maxfield (lead vocals, bass guitar), Robbie Connolly (lead vocals, guitar), Brandon Kitterman (guitar, bass guitar), and Aaron Anderson (drums). They have toured nationally and have opened for acts including Imagine Dragons, Vampire Weekend, Neon Trees, Young the Giant, and Shiny Toy Guns. History Background and overview The band began in its earliest formation as Good Morning Maxfield in 2007 and released an eponymous album under that name. Fictionist formed in their current configuration to release their first album ''Invisible Hand'' in 2009. Velour Live Music Gallery (often just Velour) is a music venue, on University Avenue, in Provo, Utah. Velour is owned by Corey Fox. It acts as an all-ages music venue catering to an eclectic mix of genres. It is also a smoking and alcohol free environment. Neon Trees (Mercury) credit Velour as their home venue which helped launch their career. Other artists who similarly hold this same sentiment include major label artists Imagine Dragons (Interscope), Fictionist (Atlantic), Isaac Russell (Columbia), and notable folk singer Joshua James. Other Utah artists have hailed the work of Corey Fox and the value of Velour Live Music Gallery including internet sensation Lindsey Stirling, Truman Brothers and The Used (Hopeless). Nate Pyfer
Nate Pyfer is an American record producer and songwriter/composer. Pyfer has collaborated with Kaskade and producer Finn Bjarnson on a number of projects including co-writing the Grammy nominated single "Atmosphere" on the eponymous album. Nate Pyfer was a founding member of the bands Code Hero, Night Night, The Moth & The Flame, and his newest musical project Mr. Tape. He also toured as a member of Joshua James' band during the late 2000s. Remixes and collaborations released by Pyfer and his associates are most often under the pseudonyms "Mr. Tape" or "Wild Children". Neon Trees is an American rock band from Provo, Utah. The band received nationwide exposure in late 2008 when they opened several North American tour dates for the band The Killers. Not long after, the band was signed by Mercury Records. Their first single, "Animal", climbed to No. 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart. Since their formation, Neon Trees has released four studio albums: ''Habits'' (2010), ''Picture Show'' (2012), ''Pop Psychology'' (2014), and '' I Can Feel You Forgetting Me'' (2020). Ryan Gary Raddon (born February 25, 1971), better known by his stage name Kaskade, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. ''DJ Times'' voted Kaskade "America's Best DJ" in 2011 and 2013. ''DJ Mag'' named Kaskade fifty-first on its 2009 list of Top 100 DJs. Early life Born in Chicago, Kaskade grew up in nearby Northbrook and attended Glenbrook North High School. David Bendeth
David Jonathan Bendeth (born 17 June 1954) is a multi-platinum award-winning record producer. Early life David Bendeth was born on 17 June 1954 in Stoke Newington, Hackney, London, England. He attended Parkhill School in Ilford, London and in 1963, his family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bendeth attended Georges Vanier Secondary School. Following graduation in 1973, Bendeth was to attend university, however he left for a summer vacation to London and stayed there.
