''Fey'' is the debut studio album by Mexican singer Fey, released on 27 June 1995, through Sony Music Entertainment Mexico, it has sold over 2 million worldwide. Background and recording Initially, Fey began as a backup singer of the group ''Las Hermanas Gil'', which was made up by two of her aunts, a very famous duo during their time. Fey's family did not agree with her wishing to attend dance and singing classes, as they felt she was too young. For this reason, her aunts decided to include her in the group in some way. Meanwhile, Fey was recording demos for different labels until around 1989 PolyGram was interested in the Fey's concept, she was then 16 years old. Finally, PolyGram did not admit Fey into their label. Fey and her aunt Nohemi Gil were knocking on doors, until in 1994, until there was an opportunity with Sony Music, thanks to Toño Berumen, who showed interest in Fey. María Fernanda Blázquez Gil (born July 21, 1973), known artistically as Fey, is a Latin Grammy Award-nominated Mexican singer, songwriter, designer, dancer, record producer, and director. She has released seven studio albums and done one international tour and a short tour to promote her third studio album. She rose to fame with her self-titled debut album, ''Fey,'' released in 1995, which was followed by ''Tierna La Noche'', and ''El Color De Los Sueños''. VH1 Latin America was a music channel from ViacomCBS-owned ViacomCBS Networks Americas. The network was launched on April 1, 2004 exclusively on Cablevisión D.F. in Mexico, and in the rest of the region some months later. The channel targeted audience from 19 to 44 years old and played local and international music videos from the 1970s to the 2000s. It also aired famous countdowns from VH1 United States. It reached most of the satellite and cable systems in Latin America. VH1 Soul, another channel of MTV Networks and sister channel of VH1 was also available in the region. Lynda Aguirre Thomas (born 21 December 1981), known professionally as Lynda, is a Mexican musician, singer, songwriter and activist.
