Festival Imperial
Festival Imperial is a major Costa Rican music festival organized by Cerveceria Costa Rica and their flagship beer: Imperial. The first festival took place in April 2006 and brought world-known performers such as Sting, Jamiroquai, Diego Torres, and The Rasmus. The second edition of the festival was held in April 2008 and featured: Duran Duran, Incubus and Smashing Pumpkins among others. Initially the festival was going to take place every two years, but on 2010 the organizers announced there was not going be a Festival Imperial that year due to sanitary reasons (AH1N1 Virus) and the world economic crisis. On December 15, 2011 Cerveceria Costa Rica announced that, after four years of absence, the third edition of the Festival Imperial would take place on March 24 and 25 wil. Alajuela
Alajuela () is a district in the Alajuela canton of the Alajuela Province of Costa Rica. As the seat of the Municipality of Alajuela canton, it is awarded the status of city. By virtue of being the city of the first canton of the province, it is also the capital of the Province of Alajuela. Because of its location in the Costa Rican Central Valley, Alajuela is nowadays part of the conurbation of the Greater Metropolitan Area. The city is the birthplace of Juan Santamaría, the national hero of Costa Rica and the figure who gives the name to the country's main international airport, which is south of Alajuela downtown. Gandhi (Costa Rica)
Gandhi is a Costa Rican rock band, formed in 1993, characterized for mixing diverse influences ranging from hard rock to Latin rhythms. Playing to audiences in Central America, Mexico, USA and the UK, sharing stage with Sting, Aerosmith and Deep Purple. History Starting as a band that mixed music with artistic visual elements such as body painting, theater props, lightning and scenery, Gandhi created a good following in the early days in Costa Rica. Zoé (band)
Zoé is a Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award-winning Mexican rock band. It was initially formed in Mexico City in 1994, although membership started to stabilize in 1997. Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963), known professionally as Seal, is a British singer. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide. These include hit songs "Crazy" and "Killer", the latter of which went to number one in the UK, and his most celebrated song, "Kiss from a Rose", which was released in 1994. Seal is renowned for his distinctive soulful singing voice. Seal has won multiple awards throughout his career, including three Brit Awards; he won Best British Male in 1992. Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler (; (born 8 May 1975) is a Spanish singer and songwriter. Babasónicos
Babasónicos is an Argentine rock band, formed in the early 1990s along with others such as Peligrosos Gorriones and Los Brujos. After emerging in the wave of Argentine New Rock bands of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Babasonicos became one of the banner groups of the "sonic" underground rock movement in Argentina in the late 1990s. The band name refers partly to Sai Baba, the Indian guru, and partly to ''The Jetsons'', whose Spanish version is called ''Los Supersónicos'' (The Supersonics). Héctor El Father
Héctor Luis Delgado Román (born September 4, 1979) is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and record producer, formerly known by his stage names Héctor "El Father" and Héctor "El Bambino". After retirement, he obtained a degree in Theology at Southern Methodist University and dedicated his life to preaching the Christian faith in his homeland of Puerto Rico. Miranda!
Miranda! is an Argentine electropop band formed in 2001. Original band members include Alejandro Sergi (vocals), Juliana Gattas (vocals), Lolo Fuentes (guitar), Bruno de Vincenti (programming), and since 2003, Nicolás Grimaldi (bass).
