Feast Day
The calendar of saints is the traditional Christian method of organizing a liturgical year by associating each day with one or more saints and referring to the day as the feast day or feast of said saint. The word "feast" in this context does not mean "a large meal, typically a celebratory one", but instead "an annual religious celebration, a day dedicated to a particular saint". The system arose from the early Christian custom of commemorating each martyr annually on the date of their death, or birth into heaven, a date therefore referred to in Latin as the martyr's ''dies natalis'' ('day of birth'). "Festa" is MAX's 25th single on the Avex Trax label. It is their second single to be released in a copy-protected format. Chris Festa, born in Atlanta on September 5, 1985, is an American auto racing driver. Festa raced the #9 Dallara for Chip Ganassi Racing in the Indy Pro Series in 2007. He also served as Target Chip Ganassi Racing's development driver where he did all the test and development driving for the team's IndyCar program during the 2007 and 2008 Seasons. His work contributed heavily to the win in the 2008 Indy 500 and 2008 IndyCar Series Championship for Scott Dixon. Costanzo Festa (c. 1485/1490 – 10 April 1545) was an Italian composer of the Renaissance. While he is best known for his madrigals, he also wrote sacred vocal music. He was the first native Italian polyphonist of international renown, and with Philippe Verdelot, one of the first to write madrigals, in the infancy of that most popular of all sixteenth-century Italian musical forms. Giorgio Festa (Rome 1860- Frascati 1940) was an Italian physician. Biography Giorgio Festa is known for being Saint Pio of Pietrelcina's personal doctor. In 1919 he was assigned by the Minister of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin to do a medical examination on Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. In 1920 Festa went to San Giovanni Rotondo for a medical check on some Saint Pio of Pietrelcina's injures he had observed the month before. On 5 October 1925 he operated Saint Pio of Pietrelcina on the right inguinal hernia and in 1927 he removed a cyst, which was on Saint Pio's sternocleidomastoid muscle.
