Biography Ferroni was born into a family of Tuscan artists, including his father Riccardo, grandfather Leone, and uncle Marcello from Pietrasanta. Ferroni's sister Elena was also a painter with whom Ferroni held joint exhibitions early on in his career. In 1986, after graduating high school, he joined his father's atelier and studied at the Rome University 'La Sapienza'. His paintings depict a fantasy world that is inhabited by all kinds of mythological, historical and contemporary creatures. Giorgio Ferroni
Giorgio Ferroni (12 April 1908 – 1981) was an Italian film director. Life and career Giorgio Ferroni was born in Perugia on 12 April 1908. Ferroni began his career in film with short documentaries during World War II. He directed his first dramatic film ''The Thrill of the Skies'' in 1939. At the time of filming ''The Night of the Devils'', Ferroni was almost completely deaf and had to direct the film with the help of a hearing aid. Following the release of the film, a new project titled ''E i mostri uscirono dalle loro tane'' (). Ferroni only helmed one more film with the comedy ''Antonio e Placido: attenti ragazzi...chi rompe paga'' which he is credited as Calvin Jackson Padget, a name he used for directing Western (genre), Westerns in the 1960s. Egisto Ferroni
Egisto Ferroni (14 December 1835, Lastra a Signa – 25 May 1912, Florence) was an Italian painter, specializing in pastoral, rural, and genre subjects. Life and work His father, Egiziano, was a Master stonemason. He had originally intended to follow him into the trade, but later chose to study at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, where his instructors included Enrico Pollastrini, Stefano Ussi and Antonio Ciseri. His early paintings were on historical subjects. His first work of any note was created in 1868; a painting called "Le trecciaiole" (The Braiders), which he presented at the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts. It made a critical impression as its monumental size was atypical for genre works of that nature. In general, his figures were portrayed in a severe, realistic manner, which brought him into conflict with his agent, Luigi Pisani, who wanted scenes that were more "polite". Palazzo Spini-Ferroni, Florence
Palazzo Spini Ferroni is a large Gothic palace located along Via de' Tornabuoni at the corner of Piazza Santa Trinita, in central Florence, region of Tuscany, Italy. It stands across from the church of Santa Trinita. History The palace was commissioned in 1289 by the rich cloth merchant and banker Geri Spini, on plots that he had bought after the 1288 flood of the Arno, from the monks of Santa Trinita. At the time, it was the largest privately owned palazzo in Florence, rivaling in size the contemporary Palazzo Vecchio, the seat of government of the Republic. The design of Palazzo Spini Feroni has been attributed to list of architects including Arnolfo di Cambio or Arnolfo's father, Lapo Tedesco.
