David Ferreiro Quiroga (born 1 April 1988) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays mainly as a winger for FC Cartagena. Club career Born in Baños de Molgas, Ourense, Galicia, Ferreiro finished his development at Pabellón Ourense CF after starting out at SD Nogueira de Ramuín. In 2006, he signed with CD Ourense: initially assigned to the reserves in Tercera División, he became a regular starter for the first team during the 2007–08 season, which ended in relegation from Segunda División B. Ferreiro continued to compete in the third division the following years, representing CF Atlético Ciudad and Zamora CF. Iván Ferreiro Rodríguez (born 15 August 1970) is a Spanish singer-songwriter born in Vigo, Galicia. He was the voice, leader and composer of the popular pop-rock band Los Piratas. Career After Los Piratas split, by late 2003, Iván kept playing with his brother Amaro in a pub in Vigo, called ''El Ensanche''. Due to the success of this set of concerts, he decided to record an album with new songs, '' Canciones para el tiempo y la distancia'', that was released in 2005. In the tour of the album, ''Tournedo'', Iván was accompanied by his brother on the guitar and Karlos Arancegui at the drum kit. In November 2005, Iván thought up a project called Laboratorio Ñ, consisting of collecting some Spanish and Argentinian musicians in a house at Buenos Aires, to write new songs among friends. Celso Emilio Ferreiro Míguez (1912–1979) was a Galicianist activist, writer, poet, and political journalist. Early years Ferreiro was born in Celanova, into a well-off Galicianist family. In 1932, at the age of twenty, he created the ''Mocedades Galeguistas de Celanova'' (''Galicianist Youths of Celanova'') with Xosé Velo Mosquera. In 1934 he also participated in the creation of the ''Federación de Mocedades Galeguistas'' (''Federation of Galicianist Youths''). Some time after this Ferreiro got into trouble because of an article published in his magazine ''Guieiro''. Francoist Spain Ferreiro was mobilized in the Spanish Civil War by the Nationalist troops. He studied law, and contributed to many magazines and newspapers over the period of the Francoist State. Martín Ignacio Ferreiro (born 21 October 1997) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for German Bundesliga club Crefelder HTC and the Argentine national team. Club career Ferreiro played for Lomas in Argentina until 2019. He joined Pinoké in the Dutch Hoofdklasse for the 2019–20 season. After two season in the Netherlands he moved to Belgium to play for Gantoise in Ghent. He only stayed there for one season as he moved to Germany to play for Crefelder HTC in the summer of 2022. Benn Trevor Ferriero (born April 29, 1987) is an American former professional ice hockey center. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers and the Vancouver Canucks. Ferriero was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but grew up in Essex, Mass.
