Feroz Awards
The Feroz Awards ( es, Premios Feroz) are Spain-based film and television awards presented by the Asociación de Informadores Cinematográficos de España (''Association of Cinematographic Informers of Spain''). They are considered the Spanish equivalent to the Golden Globe Awards, since they are part of the build-up to the Goya Awards, presented by the Spanish Film Academy. Created as film awards, the first edition took place in January 2014. Categories recognizing excellence in television were added for the 4th edition that took place in 2017. Eligibility conditions To be eligible for Premios Feroz, a film needs to have been premiered within the year prior to the award ceremony and, before the premiere, have been featured in a special projection for the press in Madrid, Barcelona or both. Daniel García-Pérez Guzmán (born 21 September 1972), known commonly as Daniel Guzmán, is a Spanish actor, screenwriter and film director. Biography He grew up in Las Águilas, an area of Madrid, where during his youth he painted graffiti under the pseudonym ''Tifón'', in spite of a large part of the neighbourhood in Aluche being against his paintings. Jaime Rosales (born 1970 in Barcelona) is a Spanish film director, screenwriter and film producer. He spent three years in Cuba studying cinema at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión in San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) in La Habana, and later at Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Sydney, (Australia).
