Fernando Velázquez (composer)
Fernando Velázquez (born 22 November 1976. Getxo, Biscay, Spain) is a Spanish concert, film and TV composer. Among his best known works are the film soundtracks for Juan Antonio Bayona’s films: '' The Orphanage'', '' The Impossible'' and ''A Monster Calls'', for which he won the Goya Film Award for Best Original Composition in 2017. Life and career He studied cello at a number of different musical conservatories, including, from 1990 to 1993, Andrés Isasi in Getxo, Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga in Bilbao (1993–1997) and the Conservatory of Music Jesús Guridi in Vitoria, where he won the Excellence Award at the end of his studies. He then travelled to Paris to continue his education. He studied composition at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid from 2003 to 2007, and also holds a degree in Contemporary History from the University of Deusto (1994–1998). Rodrigo Plá
Rodrigo Plá (born 9 June 1968 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan screenwriter and director. He is best known for his 2007 film '' La Zona'' (The Zone). Plá studied photography, screenwriting and direction at the Centro de capacitación cinematográfica in Mexico City, where he has lived since he was 9 years old. In 1988 he directed his first short-film. His 2012 film ''The Delay'' was selected as the Uruguayan entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards, but it did not make the final shortlist. Rodrigo is married to writer Laura Santullo, who has written all the screenplays for all four of his full-length feature films, including his latest, ''Un Monstruo de Mil Cabezas'' ("A Monster With a Thousand Heads"), which was based on her novel by the same name.

Tom Kalin (born 1962) is a screenwriter, film director, producer, and professor of experimental film at European Graduate School in Saas-Fee. His debut feature, '' Swoon'', is considered an integral part of the New Queer Cinema. In addition to his feature work, Kalin has created a number of short films, many of which are collected in the compilations ''Behold Goliath or The Boy With the Filthy Laugh'', ''Third Known Nest'' and ''Tom Kalin Videoworks: Volume 2''.
