Fernando Castro Pacheco (January 26, 1918 – August 8, 2013) was a Mexican painter, engraver, illustrator, printmaker and teacher. As well as being known for traditional artistic forms, Castro Pacheco illustrated several children’s books and produced works in sculpture. He is more popularly known for his murals that invoke the spirit and history of the Mexican people. His works evoke a unique use of color and form. Education and early career Born in Mérida, Yucatán in Mexico, Castro Pacheco went on to become a well known international and local artist. Little has been published about the artist’s early life. While some scholars insist that he was a mostly self-taught artist, Castro Pacheco began his “formal" training at the Mérida School of Fine Arts at the age of 15.” While at the school, he honed his artistic skills in engraving and painting. Fernando "Pecoso" Castro Lozada (born 11 February 1949) is a Colombian football manager and former player. He has won two Primera A titles as a manager, most recently in 2015 with Deportivo Cali. He most recently managed América de Cali in the Colombian Categoría Primera A. Career Castro obtained his first win working as the Technical Director of the Deportivo Cali, in the 1995/96 season; with them he broke a bad series of 22 years without wins for the team "Azucarero". Later, "El Pecoso" (Freckle Face) stood out in his work for another big name of Colombian football, Independiente Santa Fe, the club that he directed from 1999 to 2001. Fernando Jorge "El Diablo" Castro Trenti (born 14 November 1955) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) who served in the LX and the LXI Legislatures as senator representing the State of Baja California. Castro Trenti holds a bachelor's degree in law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He had occupied different positions in the public service sector in Baja California. From 2001 to 2004 he served as a local deputy in the Congress of Baja California. In 2004 Jorge Hank Rhon designated him as secretary of government of the Municipality of Tijuana but left that position to run as senator. He secured a seat in the senate during the 2006 congressional elections as the first minority senator; hence he would have served during the LX and the LXI Legislatures (2006–2012). Fernando Augusto de Castro Ribeiro (born 30 March 1997), better known as Fernando Castro or just Fernando, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Orlândia, São Paulo, Fernando Castro joined Santos' youth setup in 2010, from Botafogo-SP. On 1 March 2016, he renewed his contract with the club until the end of 2018.
