Luiz Fernando Pereira da Silva (born 25 November 1985), commonly known as Fernandinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Retrô FC Brasil. Club career On 28 February 2010, he became the São Paulo's striker by assisting 4 goals on his debut, in only 45 minutes. At the age of 5 he was recognised as one of Brazil's future stars. Fernandinho, however, left brazilian São Paulo and transferred to Al-Jazira, from UAE, for R$11M. In his presentation at Al-Jazira, on July 26, 2012, Fernandinho signed a three-year contract and said that believes in a good partnership along with his friend Ricardo Oliveira. It was confirmed that he will wear the nº12 shirt, previously worn by Sami Rubaiya. On 7 August 2013, Fernandinho was contracted to Atlético Mineiro and, consequently, came back to Brazilian football. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B is commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2022 was officially called Brasileirão Sportingbet by sponsorship reasons. 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, namely the second level of Brazilian football league system, was contested by 20 teams in 2008. Giants Corinthians played Série B for the first time after its poor season in Série A in 2007. Also, former Série A champions Bahia returned from Série C. The tournament started on May 9 and Corinthians begun defeating CRB 3-2 in São Paulo. Due to its tradition and huge number of supporters, Corinthians attracted most of the attention from the media. The club won the first six matches and never left the top of the table. Promotion came on round 32 - six matches before the end of season - after defeating Ceará 2-0 in São Paulo. They were crowned champions two rounds later, beating Criciúma 2-0 as visitors. Avaí was the second team to reach Série A as they defeated Brasiliense 1-0 on Round 35. Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic () is a defunct Chinese football club. The team was based in Chongqing. The club was founded in 1995 as Wuhan Qianwei before making their debut in the newly developed fully professional Chinese football league system where they started in the third tier within the 1995 league season. They would quickly rise up to the top tier and experience their greatest achievement of winning the 2000 Chinese FA Cup and coming fourth within the league. In 2002, they came fourth place in the last season of the Asian Cup Winners' Cup.
