Fernando Luiz Roza (born 4 May 1985), known as Fernandinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Athletico Paranaense. He has captained the Brazil national team on many occasions. Fernandinho is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation. Fernandinho started his career at Brazilian club Atlético Paranaense before moving to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2005, where he became one of the best foreign players to ever play in the Ukrainian Premier League. With Shakhtar, he won six Ukrainian Premier League titles, four Ukrainian Cups and the 2008–09 UEFA Cup. Fernando José Marques Maciel (born 19 July 1997), commonly known as Fernandinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Mirassol. Club career Born in São Luís, Maranhão, Fernandinho finished his formation with Sampaio Corrêa. He made his first team debut on 12 April 2015, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 0–0 Campeonato Maranhense home draw against Moto Club. Fernandinho never established himself as a starter for the club, rescinded his contract in March 2017 and subsequently moved to Noroeste. Luiz Fernando Pereira da Silva (born 25 November 1985), commonly known as Fernandinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Retrô FC Brasil. Fernando Alves Santa Clara or simply Fernandinho (born April 16, 1981 in Ilhéus), is a former Brazilian left-back. Club career Fernando Alves Santa Clara (Fernandinho) began his professional career with Vitória in 1999. After impressing with the Brazilian side, he drew the interest of top Portuguese side FC Porto and joined them on loan in 2002.
