Fern Emmett
Fern Emmett (March 22, 1896 – September 3, 1946) was an American film actress. She appeared in 212 films between 1930 and 1946. Emmett's film debut came with Universal in a two-reel production in 1914. Personal life Emmett was married to actor Henry Roquemore. Death Emmett died in Hollywood, California. ''Three on a Limb'' is a 1936 American short comedy film directed by Charles Lamont and starring Buster Keaton. Plot Elmer, a boy scout, stops for lunch at a roadside diner and falls in love with Molly, the waitress, right away. Molly's fiancée, a traffic warden named Homer arrives and gives Elmer a ticket but Molly allows Elmer to drive her home and while backing up he accidentally runs over Homer's motorcycle. Molly reveals her parents are trying to pressure her into marrying Homer but he is not in love with him. ''Blue Steel'' is a 1934 American pre-Code Monogram Western film directed by Robert N. Bradbury and starring John Wayne. Wayne plays a U.S. Marshal who is trying to capture the Polka Dot Bandit, who has taken off with $4,000. The film also featured Yakima Canutt and George "Gabby" Hayes. It was released as ''Stolen Goods'' in the UK, and this version was later released in a colorized version on home video. Since the movie has fallen into the public domain, several versions are in circulation, including a colorized edition with a jarringly re-dubbed soundtrack, including dialogue, music and sound effects.
