Fergus Pragnell
Fergus Pragnell (born 17 September 1985) is an Australian former rower. He is a seven-time Australian King's Cup winner, an U23 World Champion and a medallist at senior World Championships. State and club rowing From Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Pragnell's senior club rowing was from the Sydney University Boat Club. He first made state selection for New South Wales in the 2005 senior eight contesting the King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. He raced eleven consecutive King's Cup races for New South Wales from 2005 to 2015 and won seven straight from 2008 to 2014. From 2009 to 2015 he was consistently seated in the pace-setting position of stroke or seven in the New South Wales eight. James Chapman (rower)
James Jonathan Chapman (born 2 November 1979) is an Australian former national, Olympic representative and Olympic medal winning rower. Education Raised in Sydney, Chapman attended Newington College where he was coached by Michael Morgan , an Olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian, and Robert Buntine, deputy headmaster. In 1997 he was a member of the Newington Head of the River winning 1st VIII that won the centenary regatta. He studied accounting at the University of Technology Sydney. Joshua Booth (rower)
Joshua Booth (born 9 October 1990) is an Australian rower. He is a triple Olympian and Olympic silver medal winner from Melbourne, Australia. He rowed in the Australian men's eight at the London 2012 Olympics, Rio 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics, Tokyo 2020 Olympics Joshua has two miniature groodles, Albie and Lenny; and lives in Melbourne. Aiguebelette-le-Lac () is a commune and village in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. In 2016, it had a population of 249 people. The 2015 World Rowing Championships were World Rowing Championships that were held from 30 August to 6 September 2015 at Lac d'Aiguebelette, Aiguebelette in France. Joshua Dunkley-Smith (born 28 June 1989 in Geelong, Australia) is an Australian former representative rower. He was a national champion, a dual Olympian, two-time silver Olympic medal winner, and won medals at five World Rowing Championships. Personal Dunkley-Smith attended Albert Park Primary and learned to row at The Geelong College. He rowed in The Geelong College first VIII in Victorian Schools Head of the River races in 2006 and 2007. Dunkley-Smith studied for a B.Arts in Journalism at Monash University. Alex Lloyd
Alex Lloyd (born 19 November 1974) is an Australian singer-songwriter. Four of his albums, ''Black the Sun'', '' Watching Angels Mend'', '' Distant Light'' and ''Alex Lloyd'', released between 1999 and 2005, made the top ten on the ARIA charts. Spencer Alf Turrin (born 29 August 1991) is an Australian representative rower. He is a national champion, twice world champion, a dual Olympian and an Olympic champion. Sam Loch
Samuel Loch (born 26 June 1983) is an Australian former representative rower. A dual Olympian and two time bronze medal winner at World Championships, he has set and holds world records in indoor rowing with times set on the Concept 2 rowing machine. Education Loch began his rowing at The King's School in Sydney and was in the stroke seat of the school's 2001 First VIII which won 28 races from 28 starts including the AAGPS Head of the River. Nicholas Purnell (born 4 June 1990) is an Australian representative and dual Olympian rower. He is a national champion, who has competed at seven world championships and in the men's eight event at the 2012 London and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Nick Hudson (born 7 October 1983, in Sydney) is an Australian former rower. He was an U23 world champion, an Australian national champion and was a silver medallist at the 2009 World Championships. Club and state rowing Hudson was educated at The King's School, Parramatta where he took up rowing. He stroked the school's first VIII in 2000 to a 5th placing at the AAGPS Head of the River.
