Ferdy Sambo
Ferdy Sambo (Indonesian: sæmboʊ born 19 February 1973) is a former high-ranking Indonesian National Police officer who last served as the Head of the Profession and Security Division of the Indonesian National Police (''Kadiv Propam Polri'') with the rank of Inspector General of Police. He is known for the killing of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, where he was charged with premeditated murder, which carries the death penalty or life imprisonment alongside his wife, Putri Candrawati, and four of his police adjutants. He was dishonorably discharged on 27 August 2022 following an investigation from the Indonesian Police Ethics committee. His previous position was Dirtipidum Criminal Investigation Agency (''Bareskrim'') Polri (2019), promoted to Head of Propam Polri (2020) and transferred to Pati Yanma Polri (2022).
