Ferdinand Mercado
Ferdinand Mercado Ramos (born June 18, 1957) is a former Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of State under Governor Sila Calderón from 2001 until 2004. His government service ended after Gov. Calderón appointed him as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and his nomination was later withdrawn when it became apparent that he would not be confirmed by the Senate of Puerto Rico. Lares, Puerto Rico
Lares (, ) is a mountain town and municipality of Puerto Rico's central-western area. Lares is located north of Maricao and Yauco; south of Camuy, east of San Sebastián and Las Marias; and west of Hatillo, Utuado and Adjuntas. Lares is spread over 10 barrios and Lares Pueblo (Downtown Lares). It is part of the Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastián Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Senate of Puerto Rico ( es, Senado de Puerto Rico) is the upper house of the Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico, the territorial legislature of Puerto Rico. The Senate, together with the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico, control the legislative branch of the government of Puerto Rico. Sello (Finnish for ''cello'') is a shopping mall in the Leppävaara, Espoo, Finland. The mall contains more than 170 shops and services including a concert hall and a library.
