Feni Soccer Club was a Bangladeshi association football, football club based in Feni District, Feni. It was supposed to play in the Dhaka League, Dhaka Senior Division Football League, the 3nd-tier league of the country, in 2018. 5,000 capacity Shahid Salam Stadium was their home ground. After 2018–19 Bangladesh Championship League, 2018-2019 BCL season, the club has been relegated to Dhaka Senior Division Football League. The club was dissolved in 2017. History This Soccer Club, of Feni is commonly known as Feni Soccer Club, it is a professional football club that plays in Dhaka League, Dhaka Senior Division Football League. It was established in Feni during 1988. They started their journey in major football league of Bangladesh in 2009 in the 2009–10 Bangladesh League, Bangladesh League which is now known as Bangladesh Premier League. Bhasha Shaheed Abdus Salam Stadium ( bn, ভাষা শহীদ আব্দুস সালাম স্টেডিয়াম) also known as Shaheed Salam Stadium is a association football, football stadium in Feni District, Feni, Bangladesh. The stadium is named to honor the 1952 Bengali Language Movement martyr Abdus Salam (language martyr), Abdus Salam. The stadium is a regular of host of national day parade, professional as well as district level football league matches. Federation Cup (Bangladesh)
Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue Bangabandhu National Stadium. The winner of the tournament earn the slot of playing qualifying round of AFC Cup. Format A total of 13 teams participate in the final round. Teams are split into 4 groups. Two teams from each group qualify for the knockout rounds.
