Fenella Kernebone
Fenella Kernebone (born 8 June 1976) is an Australian radio and television presenter, MC and interviewer, based in Sydney, with a long record working across the arts, film, music, design, architecture and culture. Her most recent hosting roles include the presenter of By Design on Radio National and The Sound Lab on Triple J. In June 2016, she was appointed Head of Curation for TEDxSydney. Early life Fenella Kernebone grew up in Homebush, in Sydney's Inner West. She was educated at the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney in Croydon, New South Wales. A portrait of Kernebone by Nick Stathopolous called "Art Does Belong", was a finalist in the 2012 Archibald Prize. Art Nation is a Swedish melodic rock band from Gothenburg, founded in 2014 by Alexander Strandell. Their debut album ''Revolution'' was released in August 2015 by German record company Metal Heaven. The band was nominated for one of Sweden's biggest music prizes, "Gaffa- priset", 2015, 2016, and 2017, as "The Best Live Act of the Year" and "Swedish Breakthrough of the Year" and "Swedish Group of the Year" like Zara Larsson , Ghost , Laleh , Håkan Hellström and In Flames. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is the national broadcaster of Australia. It is principally funded by direct grants from the Australian Government and is administered by a government-appointed board. The ABC is a publicly-owned body that is politically independent and fully accountable, with its charter enshrined in legislation, the ''Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983''. ABC Commercial, a profit-making division of the corporation, also helps to generate funding for content provision. Sydney Opera House
The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney. Located on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, it is widely regarded as one of the world's most famous and distinctive buildings and a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture. Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, but completed by an Australian architectural team headed by Peter Hall, the building was formally opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 20 October 1973 after a gestation beginning with Utzon's 1957 selection as winner of an international design competition. Royal Doulton
Royal Doulton is an English ceramic and home accessories manufacturer that was founded in 1815. Operating originally in Vauxhall, London, and later moving to Lambeth, in 1882 it opened a factory in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, in the centre of English pottery. From the start, the backbone of the business was a wide range of utilitarian wares, mostly stonewares, including storage jars, tankards and the like, and later extending to pipes for drains, lavatories and other bathroom ceramics. From 1853 to 1901, its wares were marked Doulton & Co., then from 1901, when a royal warrant was given, Royal Doulton. It always made some more decorative wares, initially still mostly stoneware, and from the 1860s, the firm made considerable efforts to get a reputation for design, in which it was largely successful, as one of the first British makers of art pottery.
