Fencing At The 1996 Summer Olympics – Men's Team épée
The men's team épée was one of ten fencing events on the fencing at the 1996 Summer Olympics programme. It was the twentieth appearance of the event. Georgia World Congress Center
The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is a convention center in Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. Enclosing some 3.9 million ft2 (360,000 m2) in exhibition space and hosting more than a million visitors each year, the GWCC is the world's largest LEED certified convention center and the third-largest convention center in the United States. Opened in 1976, the GWCC was the first state-owned convention center established in the United States. Kaido Kaaberma (born 18 November 1968) is an Estonian épée fencer. Kaaberma won the bronze medal in the épée individual competition at the 1999 World Fencing Championships. He won a silver medal in 2001 with the Estonian épée team at the World Fencing Championships in Hungary. Kaaberma won eight Estonian championships in épée fencing between the years 1988 and 2005. Gold Medal
A gold medal is a medal awarded for highest achievement in a non-military field. Its name derives from the use of at least a fraction of gold in form of plating or alloying in its manufacture. Krisztián Kulcsár (born 28 June 1971) is a Hungarian fencer, who has won two Olympic silver medals in the team épée competition. He became world champion in 2007. As of 2013, he is deputy chairman of the Hungarian Fencing Federation. Kulcsár has a university degree in Economics and Law. In his private life, he is married with two daughters and one son. Kulcsár was elected President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) on 2 May 2017, replacing Zsolt Borkai. The general assembly of MOB withdrew confidence from Kulcsár on 30 December 2021. Therefore, Kulcsár resigned from his position with effect from 31 January 2022.
