Australian Academy Of Technology And Engineering
The Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) is a learned academy that helps Australians understand and use technology to solve complex problems. It was founded in 1975 as one of Australia's then four learned academies (now five). Its original name was the 'Australian Academy of Technological Sciences', but in 1987 the name was lengthened to include Engineering, as 'Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering'. Denise Goldsworthy
Denise Carol Goldsworthy (born 1964/1965) is an Australian business executive. After a 30-year career in the mining industry she opened Alternate Futures, a consultancy business, in 2013. She has also held a number of non-executive board and chairman roles. In January 2022 she took over as fifth Chancellor of Edith Cowan University. Career Goldsworthy joined BHP Steel in 1982 and studied part-time at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a bachelor of metallurgy and University Medal in 1989. Jenny Stauber
Jennifer Lee Stauber (known as Jenny Stauber) is an Australian ecotoxicologist and chief research scientist at the CSIRO Land and Water. Education Stauber graduated from the University of Sydney in 1979 with a BSc in biochemistry and microbiology and MSc for her thesis titled "Photosynthetic pigments in marine diatoms" in 1984. In 1996, she completed a PhD titled "Toxicity of Metals in Biological Systems" at the University of Tasmania. Career Stauber joined CSIRO Fisheries and Oceanography as a research scientist in 1979, moving to CSIRO Energy Chemistry in 1983 in the same role. In 2006, she transferred to CSIRO Land and Water where she was promoted to deputy chief in 2008. Susan Lee Murphy is an Australian business executive and engineer. She has worked at chief executive level in private industry and a government utility. Career Murphy graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1979. She joined Clough Engineering in 1980 and, in 1998 became the first woman on its board. She rose to chief executive officer of its Minerals and Infrastructure Division before she left in 2004 to join Water Corporation. After four years as general manager of planning and infrastructure, Murphy became chief executive officer in 2008. Murphy was appointed to the board of Monadelphous in June 2019. Anna Koltunow
Anna M. G. Koltunow is an Australian plant physiologist researching how plants reproduce. As of 2020 she is Professorial Research Fellow in the Centre for Crop Science at the University of Queensland. She is leading research for the second phase of a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Koltunow graduated from Flinders University in 1981 with a BSc(Hons). She was awarded a PhD by the University of Adelaide in 1987. From 2002 to 2006 Koltunow was president of the International Association of Sexual Plant Reproduction Research.
