Felix Chung
Felix Chung Kwok-pan (, born 4 November 1963) is a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for the Textiles and Garment constituency, representing the Liberal Party. He has also been the leader of the Liberal Party since 2016, after holding the position of chairman from 2014 to 2016. Early career He was born in 1963 to a garment business family who owns the Chungweiming Knitting Factory Limited. He was educated in Scotland, graduating from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a bachelor's degree of science in 1986 and Stirling University with a degree of Master of Business Administration in 1988. The Hong Kong order of precedence is a nominal and symbolic hierarchy of important positions within the Government of Hong Kong. Administered by the government's Protocol Division, the hierarchy does not determine the order of succession for the office of Chief Executive, which is instead specified by the Basic Law of Hong Kong. Lo Wai-kwok
Lo Wai-kwok, (; born 25 December 1953) is a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for the Engineering constituency since 2012 LegCo election, representing the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA). Peter Shiu Ka-fai (, born 22 April 1970) is the current Chairman of the Liberal Party and a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. He is also a former member of Eastern District Council, for Braemar Hill on Hong Kong Island. He graduated from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Vincent Fang Kang, GBS, JP (born 7 May 1943 in Shanghai) is the leader of the Liberal Party of Hong Kong. Election Committee
The Election Committee is a Hong Kong electoral college, the function of which is to select the Chief Executive (CE) and, since 2021, to elect 40 of the 90 members of the Legislative Council. Established by Annex I of the Basic Law of Hong Kong which states that "the Chief Executive shall be elected by a broadly representative Election Committee in accordance with this Law and appointed by the Central People's Government (State Council)." It is formed and performs its selection function once every five years, even in the event of a CE not completing their term. Positive Non-interventionism
Positive non-interventionism was the economic policy of Hong Kong; this policy can be traced back to the time when Hong Kong was under United Kingdom, British rule. It was first officially implemented in 1971 by Financial Secretary (Hong Kong), Financial Secretary of Hong Kong John James Cowperthwaite, John Cowperthwaite, who believed that the economy was doing well in the absence of government intervention but that it was important to create the regulatory and physical infrastructure to facilitate free market, market-based decision making. Leung Chun-ying (; born 12 August 1954), also known as CY Leung, is a Hong Kong politician and chartered surveyor, who has served as vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference since March 2017.
