Federico Veiroj (born 1976 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor. Veiroj studied Communications at the UCUDAL. Fraternity Award
The Fraternity Award ( es, Premio Fraternidad) is an honor given annually by the Uruguayan branch of the Jewish organization B'nai B'rith. History The Uruguayan branch of B'nai B'rith created the Fraternity Award in 1982, to promote the arts and to support national artists in the areas of Literature, Plastic Arts, Visual Arts, Dance, Theater, and Music. The prize consists of granting a trip to Israel and a country in Europe, which allows the winner to get in touch with the development and cultural projection of other areas. The winner performs a concert, exhibition, play, or lecture. Since 1986, it has been given together with the , when the juror Alberto Candeau took the initiative to recognize the career of Uruguayan artists. Valdivia International Film Festival
The Valdivia International Film Festival (Spanish: Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia (FICV o FICVALDIVIA)) is an international film exhibition and competition, held annually in the city of Valdivia, Los Rios region, Chile. The festival begun in 1993 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Cine Club of the Universidad Austral de Chile. A competition was included the following year, labeled as "Valdivia Cine & Video". That event became a milestone to cultural activity in southern Chile, promising at that time to become the greatest film event in the country.
