Federal Medical Centre (Bida)
The Federal Medical Centre, Bida (''FMCBida'') is a Federal Medical Centres, federal medical center own by the federal government of Nigeria and built by the Sani Abacha, Sani Abacha military administration, it was built in 1997 and its also has a medical institution resided beside it in Bida, Niger State, Niger state. The medical center has three major role headed which Chairman Management is the head of office Dr Ishaq Usman, it has an outpost at Gurara, Nigeria, Gurara Local Government. Government In the coming of the new administration in 2018 the Board  Management inaugurated new member which was commission by Prof Adewale Minister of Health to create opportunities for the youth  who participated and support the victory of the new government. Federal Medical Centres
In Nigeria, primary healthcare is to be provided by Local Governments, secondary health care by State Governments and tertiary health care by the Federal Government. In operationalizing this policy, the Federal Government decided to establish at least one tertiary health institution in each State of the Nigerian Federation. Federal Medical Centres (FMCs), were established nationwide in states that do not have Federal University Teaching Hospitals present. The exception to this rule is Lagos State, which has one such centre in addition to a Teaching Hospital. List of Federal Medical Centres There are a total of 22 FMCs all over the country. Sani Abacha
Sani Abacha (20 September 1943 – 8 June 1998) was a Nigerian military officer and politician who ruled as the military head of state of Nigeria from 1993 until his death in 1998. He seized power on 17 November 1993 in the last successful coup d'etat in the military history of Nigeria. He was the Chief of Army Staff between 1985 to 1990; Chief of Defence Staff between 1990 to 1993; and Minister of Defence. Abacha became the first Nigerian Army officer to attain the rank of a full military general without skipping a single rank. Bida is a Local Government Area in Niger State, Nigeria and a city on the A124 highway which occupies most of the area. The LGA has an area of and a population of 188,181 at the 2006 census. Niger State
