Fearless (Terri Clark Album)
''Fearless'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian country music singer Terri Clark. It was released in September 2000 via Mercury Nashville. The album produced three singles in "A Little Gasoline", "No Fear" and "Getting There", which respectively reached No. 13, 27, and 41 on the ''Billboard'' country charts. A fourth single, "Empty", was only released in Canada. Clark produced the album with Steuart Smith, with assistance from Keith Stegall on "No Fear" and "A Little Gasoline". Critical reception Thom Jurek of Allmusic referred to the album as "an attempt at breaking out of the bonds of contemporary country without leaving the music entirely behind" and praising Clark's songwriting. Terri Clark
Terri Lynn Sauson, known professionally as Terri Clark, born August 5, 1968, is a Canadian country music singer who has had success in both Canada and the United States. Signed to Mercury Records in 1995, she released her self-titled debut that year. Both it and its two follow-ups, 1996's ''Just the Same'' and 1998's '' How I Feel'', were certified platinum in both countries, and produced several Top Ten country hits. Her fourth album, 2000's ''Fearless'', though certified gold in Canada, was not as successful in the U.S., producing no Top 10 hits. Susanna Clark
Susanna Talley Clark (March 11, 1939 – June 27, 2012) was an American artist and country/folk songwriter. She was married to Texas singer-songwriter Guy Clark and had a close personal friendship with fellow singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt. Career Susanna Clark was an accomplished painter. Her paintings graced several musical album covers including her husband's debut album Old No. 1, Emmylou Harris's album Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent Town, Willie Nelson's Stardust, and Nanci Griffith's The Dustbowl Symphony. Susanna Clark wrote the No. 1 hit song "I'll Be Your San Antone Rose," recorded first by RCA recording artist Dottsy in 1975. She co-wrote "Come From the Heart" with Richard Leigh. Emmylou Harris (born April 2, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. Stuart Duncan
Stuart Duncan (born April 14, 1964) is an American bluegrass musician who plays the fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and banjo. Life Duncan was born in Quantico, Virginia, and raised in Santa Paula, California, where he played in the school band. He is married with three children. Duncan has been a member of the Nashville Bluegrass Band since 1985. He also works as a session musician and has played with numerous well-known performers, including George Strait, Dolly Parton, Guy Clark, Reba McEntire, and Barbra Streisand. The pedal steel guitar is a Console steel guitar, console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Like all steel guitars, it can play unlimited glissando, glissandi (sliding notes) and deep vibrato, vibrati—characteristics it shares with the human voice. Pedal steel is most commonly associated with American country music and Music of Hawaii, Hawaiian music. Dan Dugmore
Dan Dugmore is an American session musician known primarily for playing the pedal steel guitar Born in 1949, Dugmore was raised in Pasadena, California. Influenced by the Flying Burrito Brothers, he learned to play steel guitar after Flying Burrito Brothers member Sneaky Pete Kleinow sold him one. Dugmore then joined John Stewart's road band, and then Linda Ronstadt's; he also played for several James Taylor albums. In the 1990s, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he began playing steel guitar on country music albums. He self-released a Beatles cover album in 2003 titled ''Off White Album''. An acoustic guitar is a musical instrument in the string family. When a string is plucked its vibration is transmitted from the bridge, resonating throughout the top of the guitar. It is also transmitted to the side and back of the instrument, resonating through the air in the body, and producing sound from the sound hole.
