Fear Clinic (film)
''Fear Clinic'' is a 2014 horror film by Robert Green Hall, based upon the web series Fear Clinic, of the same name. The movie, which was partially funded through crowdsourcing, stars Robert Englund as a psychiatrist that tries to cure phobias by using extreme methods. The film received its world premiere on 22 October 2014 at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival and was released on DVD in the United States on 10 February 2015. Plot Sara (Fiona Dourif) is one of five people that developed PTSD after surviving a bloody shooting attack in a small diner by a masked shooter, which had the unfortunate side effect of either worsening pre-existing phobias or developing new ones. Robert Green Hall
Robert Green Hall (November 27, 1973 – May 24, 2021) was an American special makeup effects artist, film director, musician, and owner of PostHuman FX, specializing in providing seamlessly integrated makeup and visual effects. Career Make-up effects artist career Born in Detroit, Michigan, Hall began his career as a youngster in Fairview, Alabama, buying makeup and materials at the local Wal-Mart for his friends' Halloween costumes. In 1996, Hall set up his own studio and named the company after a title of a song by the rock group KISS. In the early stages of the company, Hall worked with extremely small budgets on 22 films for Roger Corman's Concorde - New Horizons and considered himself a graduate of the "Roger Corman School of Film". Night terror, also called sleep terror, is a sleep disorder causing feelings of panic or dread and typically occurring during the first hours of stage 3–4 non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep and lasting for 1 to 10 minutes. It can last longer, especially in children. Sleep terror is classified in the category of NREM-related parasomnias in the International Classification of Sleep Disorders. There are two other categories: REM-related parasomnias and other parasomnias. Parasomnias are qualified as undesirable physical events or experiences that occur during entry into sleep, during sleep, or during arousal from sleep. Sleep terrors usually begin in childhood and usually decrease as age increases. Steve Johnson (born Steven Marcus Jacobs; February 7, 1960) is an American special effects artist whose career has spanned more than thirty years. His work has appeared in over 200 films, countless television shows, theme parks, commercials, and music videos. Some of his best-known creations include Slimer for ''Ghostbusters'' (1984), the alien seductress Sil for ''Species'' (1995), Robin Williams's robotics for ''Bicentennial Man'' (1999), and Doctor Octopus's arms for ''Spider-Man 2'' (2004). Medina ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 26,094 at the 2020 Census. It lies about 33 miles (53 km) south of Cleveland and 23 miles (37 km) west of Akron within the Cleveland metropolitan area. Slipknot (band)
Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011–2014 by guitarist Donnie Steele. Jordison was dismissed from the band on December 12, 2013.
