Faythe Harriers
Faythe Harriers is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Wexford town, Ireland. History The history of the Faythe Harriers stretches back to the early 1940s, although the hurling club wasn't formed until 1949. In the late 1930s, the Mulgannon Harriers were the G.A.A. standard-bearers in the south end of Wexford town before they disbanded. In 1941, when a football street league was started in Wexford, John Murphy, Kevin Nolan, Jimmy Williams and a few others got together and decided to enter a team. They had no jerseys, so they approached the members of the Mulgannon Harriers committee for a loan of theirs. They said that they could on condition that they use another name. John Murphy, who was later to lead the club as Chairman, suggested the name "Faythe Harriers." Both of these clubs only played football, as hurling wasn’t played much in Wexford town at the time. Gaelic Athletic Association

Wexford
Wexford () is the county town of County Wexford, Ireland. Wexford lies on the south side of Wexford Harbour, the estuary of the River Slaney near the southeastern corner of the island of Ireland. Lee Chin
Lee Chin (born 8 October 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays for Wexford Senior Championship club Faythe Harriers and at inter-county level with the Wexford senior hurling team. Playing career Faythe Harriers Chin joined the Faythe Harriers club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels, enjoying championship success at under-21 level in 2012. Chin previously played football for St. Mary's and the Sarsfields. During a 2011 game against Duffry Rovers, Chin was the target of racist name-calling by two Duffry Rovers players who were later suspended from the team. Wexford GAA chairman Diarmuid Devereux condemned the incident, saying such incidents "cannot be tolerated". Larry O'Gorman
Larry O'Gorman (born October 1967 in Wexford, Ireland) is a retired Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Faythe Harriers and with the Wexford senior inter-county team in from the 1987 until 2004. O'Gorman is considered one of the heroes of the Wexford hurling team that won the All-Ireland All-Ireland (sometimes All-Island) refers to all of Ireland, as opposed to the separate jurisdictions of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Richie Kehoe
Richard "Richie" Kehoe (born 9 March 1986) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Faythe Harriers and plays for the Wexford inter-county team. Playing career Club Kehoe plays hurling with his local club Faythe Harriers. Inter-county Kehoe first came to prominence on the inter-county scene as a member of the Wexford minor team in 2002. Ned Buggy
Ned Buggy (born 1948) is an Irish retired hurling selector and former player who enjoyed a successful career as a midfielder with the Wexford senior team. Born Wexford, Buggy was introduced to hurling in his youth. He had some championship successes at underage levels with the Faythe Harriers club before later claiming a championship medal at senior level. Buggy made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Wexford minor team. An All-Ireland medal winner in this grade he later was an All-Ireland runner-up with the under-21 team. Buggy made his senior debut during the 1966-67 league. He went on to play a key role for Wexford at midfield during a successful era and won one All-Ireland medal as a non-playing substitute, four Leinster medals and one National Hurling League medal. Wexford Senior Hurling Championship
The Wexford Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Pettitt's SuperValu Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition contested by top-tier Wexford GAA clubs. The Wexford County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1889. Rapparees are the title holders (2022) after defeating St Martin's by 1-20 to 0-22 in the final. History The title has been won at least once by 28 different teams. The all-time record-holders are Rathnure who have won a total of 20 titles.
