Fayette Township, Ohio
Fayette Township is one of the fourteen townships of Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 9,194, of whom 6,628 lived in the unincorporated portion of the township. Fayette Township includes Ohio's most southerly point. Geography Located in the far southern part of the county along the Ohio River, it borders the following townships: * Lawrence Township - north * Windsor Township - southeast corner * Union Township - east * Perry Township - west West Virginia lies across the Ohio River to the south: Cabell County in the far southeast, and Wayne County otherwise. It is located in the middle of Lawrence County's Ohio River townships. Burlington is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,676 at the 2010 census. Burlington is a part of the Huntington- Ashland, WV- KY- OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 287,702. The community is situated between the villages of South Point and Chesapeake. South Point, Ohio
South Point is a village in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States, along the Ohio River. South Point straddles Perry Township and Fayette Township. The population was 3,958 at the 2010 census. South Point is a part of the Huntington- Ashland, WV- KY- OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 288,649.
