Faye Oshima Belyeu is an American television producer. Career Oshima Belyeu produced the situation comedies '' True Colors'' (Fox) from 1990 to 1992, ''Dave's World'' (CBS) from 1993 to 1995, and '' Caroline in the City'' (NBC) from 1995 to 1999. A television producer is a person who oversees one or more aspects of video production on a television show, television program. Some producers take more of an executive role, in that they conceive new programs and pitch them to the television networks, but upon acceptance they focus on business matters, such as budgets and contracts. Other producers are more involved with the day-to-day workings, participating in activities such as screenwriting, Scenic design, set design, Casting (performing arts), casting, and directing. The WB Television Network
The WB Television Network (for Warner Bros., or the "Frog Network", for its former mascot, Michigan J. Frog) was an American television network launched on broadcast television on January 11, 1995, as a joint venture between the Warner Bros. Entertainment division of Time Warner and the Tribune Broadcasting subsidiary of the Tribune Company, with the former acting as controlling partner.
