Fawad Ahmed ( ps, ; born 5 February 1982) is a Pakistan-born Australian cricketer. He was granted Australian citizenship in July 2013. In August and September 2013, he played for the Australian cricket team in both a T20I and an ODI series against England. He is the cousin of Pakistani international cricketers Junaid Khan (cricketer), Junaid Khan and Yasir Shah. Career Born in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Ahmed began playing cricket for Swabi District in local competitions. Playing as a right-arm leg spinner, he made his first-class cricket, first-class debut for Abbottabad cricket team, Abbottabad in 2005, playing two matches before being dropped from the side. Fawad Afzal Khan ( ur, ) (born 29 November 1981) is a Pakistani actor, producer, screenwriter, model and singer having received several awards including a Filmfare Award, two Lux Style Awards and six Hum Awards.
