Fatima Hamed
Fatima Hamed Hossain (born 1978) is a Spanish lawyer and politician. She founded the Movement for Dignity and Citizenship (MDyC) in 2014 and has served as a member of the Assembly of Ceuta since 2015, the first Muslim woman to lead a group in the assembly. In 2021, she was one of five founders of Sumar. Biography Born in Ceuta, a Spanish exclave in North Africa, Hamed was raised by Moroccan parents in Los Rosales, a neighbourhood with social problems. In 1998, she enrolled with the National University of Distance Education (UNED), where she qualified as a lawyer and later joined the faculty. In late 2014, Hamed left the Caballas Coalition, and set up the Movement for Dignity and Citizenship (MDyC) ahead of the 2015 Ceuta Assembly election. The party came fourth with 11% of the votes and three seats, making her the first Muslim woman to lead a group in the assembly. In 2019, the party fell to 7% and lost a seat. ''El Periódico de Aragón'' is an Aragonese daily newspaper, founded in Zaragoza, on 23 October 1990 by Juancho Dumall. It is published by the Grupo Zeta and whose information focuses primarily on Section Aragon, Opinion and Sports. History ''El Periódico de Aragón'' was born on 23 October 1990 and soon began to establish itself as the second largest newspaper in the community just behind the ''Heraldo de Aragón''. Yolanda Díaz Pérez (born 6 May 1971) is a Spanish politician and lawyer specialising in labour law, currently serving as Second Deputy Prime Minister of Spain, Second Deputy Prime Minister since 2021 and Ministry of Labour (Spain), Minister of Labour and Social Economy of the Government of Spain since 2020. The name traces back to Plato's school of philosophy, founded approximately 385 BC at Akademia, a sanctuary of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and skill, north of Athens, Greece. Spain is a Christian majority country, with Islam being a minority religion, practised mostly by the immigrants and their descendants from Muslim majority countries. Due to the secular nature of the Spanish constitution, Muslims are free to proselytize and build places of worship in the country.
