Fatherhood (book)
''Fatherhood'' is a 1986 book attributed to Bill Cosby and published by Doubleday & Company. The book was ghostwritten by humorist Ralph Schoenstein. The introduction and afterword were written by American psychiatrist Alvin F. Poussaint. The Canadian National Institute for the Blind published an audio cassette edition of ''Fatherhood'' with narration by Bob Askey. Another audiobook edition, published in 2008, was read by actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who appeared alongside Cosby in the sitcom '' The Cosby Show'' from 1984 to 1992. Ralph Schoenstein
Ralph Schoenstein (1933 – August 24, 2006) was an American writer and humorist. He was a frequent commentator to NPR's ''All Things Considered''. Schoenstein grew up in Manhattan, and graduated from Columbia University in 1953. He began writing after a brief stint in the Army, and became the author of over 18 novels and non-fiction works. His 1960 memoir ''The Block'', tells of his growing up on New York's Upper West Side. 1978's ''Citizen Paul'' is a remembrance of his father, Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper editor Paul Schoenstein. Schoenstein was also the ghostwriter of a number of books for celebrities like Joan Rivers, Ed McMahon, and Bill Cosby (''Fatherhood'' and ''Time Flies''). ''The Simpsons'' is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical depiction of American life, epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The family was conceived by Groening shortly before a solicitation for a series of animated shorts with producer James L. Brooks. ''Fatherhood'' is an American flash animated sitcom about the Bindlebeep family, inspired by the book of the same name by Bill Cosby, which aired from 2004 to 2005. Pastiche
A pastiche is a work of visual art, literature, theatre, music, or architecture that imitates the style or character of the work of one or more other artists. Dog Of Death
"Dog of Death" is the nineteenth episode of the third season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons''. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on March 12, 1992. In the episode, Santa's Little Helper falls ill and the family must make budget cuts to pay for his operation. Although the dog's life is saved, the family begins to feel the strain of their sacrifices and starts treating him badly, causing him to run away. Santa's Little Helper ends up in the possession of Mr. Burns, who trains him to become a vicious attack dog. Several days later, Bart stumbles upon the trained Santa's Little Helper and is attacked, but the dog eventually recognizes his old friend and stops.
