Father Time is a fictional character, a supervillain in publications from DC Comics. The character first appeared in '' Seven Soldiers: Frankenstein'' #3 (April 2006), and was created by Grant Morrison and Doug Mahnke. Fictional character biography Father Time is the commander of the Super Human Advanced Defense Executive (S.H.A.D.E.), a Patriot Act-funded covert operations group employing metahumans to fight terrorism. His own concerns appear to have at least as much to do with consolidating power as with national security. In ''Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters'' #1, he assassinates a presidential candidate applying too much scrutiny on S.H.A.D.E., and replaces him with a double, Gonzo the Mechanical Bastard. Father Time first appeared in Grant Morrison's ''Seven Soldiers of Victory: Frankenstein'' #3, temporarily pressing the undead assassin into S.H.A.D.E. service. Buffalo Bill
William Frederick Cody (February 26, 1846January 10, 1917), known as "Buffalo Bill", was an American soldier, Bison hunting, bison hunter, and showman. He was born in Le Claire, Iowa, Le Claire, Iowa Territory (now the U.S. state of Iowa), but he lived for several years in his father's hometown in modern-day Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, before the family returned to the Midwest and settled in the Kansas Territory. Buffalo Bill started working at the age of eleven, after his father's death, and became a rider for the Pony Express at age 15. During the American Civil War, he served the Union from 1863 to the end of the war in 1865.
