Faryal Talpur (; born 26 April 1958) is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to May 2018. Early life Talpur was born on 28 April 1958 in Nawabshah, Pakistan to Hakim Ali Zardari and Bilquis Sultana. She belongs to Baloch family from Nawabshah, Sindh. She is the sister of Asif Zardari, the former President of Pakistan, and Azra Fazal Pechuho, a politician, and the sister-in-law of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto. Political career Talpur begun her political career in 1990s. She ran for the seat of National Assembly of Pakistan on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket from Nawabshah constituency (NA-160) in 1997 Pakistani general election for the first time, but lost the election to the Pakistan Muslim League (N). General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies.
