Farooq Umar
Air Vice Marshal Farooq Umar is a veteran Pakistani fighter pilot who is known for twice breaking the sound barrier over the Amritsar Air Force Station in his Lockheed F-104 during the 1965 War. Early life Farooq was born at Lyallpur, Punjab, in British India in 1941. His father Mian Muhammad Nurullah was the first finance minister of Punjab in the 1947/48 Mandate cabinet. Personal life Farooq Umar was married to Seemeen Farooq from Quetta. Army Burn Hall College
Army Burn Hall College (; commonly referred to as Burn Hall and abbreviated as ABHC) is a highly selective, Pakistan Army-administered day and boarding school and college in Abbottabad, Pakistan. It was founded in 1943 by members of Saint Joseph's Missionary Society of Mill Hill (MHM) in British India as a missionary school for boys, named "Senior Cambridge School" (later "Burn Hall School"). The Sword of Honour ( ur, ) is an honorary sword awarded to that "Gentleman Cadet", "Officer Cadet", "Aviation Cadet" or "Lady Cadet" who achieves an overall best performance during his or her entire training period at the Pakistan Military Academy at Kakul, the Pakistan Air Force Academy at Risalpur, or the Pakistan Naval Academy at Karachi. The award of a Sword of Honour is regarded as a significant honour by the officers of the Armed Forces of Pakistan and many cadets aspire to win it.
