Faron Medhi (born January 26, 2004) is an American model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Teen USA 2022. She is the first contestant from Nebraska to win Miss Teen USA. Early life and education Medhi was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska to an Indian father and an American mother. Pageantry Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2022 Competing as Miss Omaha Teen USA, Medhi won Miss Nebraska Teen USA in 2022 and was crowned by outgoing titleholder Daisy Sudderth, becoming the first Asian-American Miss Nebraska Teen USA on March 6, 2022, in Omaha, Nebraska. Miss Nebraska Teen USA
The Miss Nebraska Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Nebraska in the Miss Teen USA pageant. The pageant is directed by Vanbros & Associates, headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. In 2002, Nebraska joined the Vanbros group of state pageants for the Miss USA and Teen USA system. In 2022, Nebraska became the 28th state that won the Miss Teen USA title for the first time. Nebraska has had only six placements at Miss Teen USA. The state was the second-to-last to make its first placement, which came in 2004, when Meagan Winings advanced to the semi-finals. Five Nebraska teens have crossed over to win the Miss Nebraska USA title and compete at Miss USA, with Sarah Summers being the most successful, winning the title of Miss USA 2018. Miss Teen USA 2022 was the 40th edition of the Miss Teen USA pageant. The competition was held on October 1, 2022 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. The competition was be hosted by Elle Smith and Christian Murphy. Breanna Myles of Florida crowned Faron Medhi of Nebraska as her successor at the end of tion of the event. Miss Teen USA
Miss Teen USA is a beauty pageant formerly run, since 1983, by the Miss Universe Organization for girls aged 14–19. Unlike its sister pageants Miss Universe, which currently broadcasts on Fox and Miss USA, this pageant is webcast on the Miss Teen USA website and simulcast on mobile devices and video game consoles. The Miss Universe Organization previously operated Miss Teen USA, as well as Miss USA, until 2020 when the rights to produce both pageants were licensed to Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart. Miss Teen USA 2021 was the 39th Miss Teen USA pageant, held on November 27, 2021, at the Paradise Cover Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The competition was hosted by Kalani Hilliker and Nicole Adamo. For a fourth consecutive year, the competition was held concurrently alongside the Miss USA competition. Breanna Myles (born February 18, 2003) is an American beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Teen USA 2021. Myles had previously been crowned Miss Florida Teen USA, Miss Florida Teen USA 2021, and became the first entrant from Florida to win Miss Teen USA.
