Fantasy Springs is an upcoming theme-land at Tokyo DisneySea similar to Fantasyland. The expansion is set to open in April 17, 2024. History In 2015, Tokyo DisneySea announced the addition of a new "Scandinavia" port based on the 3D computer-animated musical film ''Frozen''. However, this plan would be shelved in favor of Tokyo Disneyland's Fantasyland expansion and the Frozen plans would be repurposed for a larger expansion project. On June 14, 2018, Tokyo Disney Resort announced the new port will include sections about the films ''Tangled'' and ''Peter Pan'', ''Kingdom of Arendelle'' will be as part of the new port. A new hotel will be built nearby. In October 2022, due to the extension of the project's construction period, which was impacted by delay in productions overseas, as well as restrictions placed on logistics and border measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it was announced that opening date would be delayed to Spring 2024. Tokyo DisneySea
is a theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort located in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, just next to Tokyo. It opened on 4 September 2001, at a cost of 335 billion yen. The Oriental Land Company owns the park, and licenses intellectual property from The Walt Disney Company. As of 2019, Tokyo DisneySea is the fourth-most visited theme park in the world and the second-most visited in Japan behind its sister park Tokyo Disneyland. History Plans for a second Disney park in Tokyo were first conceived in 1987. Initially, these plans included a park similar to Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney-MGM Studios), to be called Disney Hollywood Studio Theme Park at Tokyo Disneyland. Fantasyland
Fantasyland is one of the "themed lands" at all of the Magic Kingdom-style parks run by The Walt Disney Company around the world. It is themed after Disney's animated fairy tale films. World of Frozen is an upcoming themed area based on ''Frozen''. This land is currently being developed by Walt Disney Imagineering at Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea under the name of Frozen Kingdom, and Walt Disney Studios Park under the name of Kingdom of Arendelle. Storyline Set after the events of ''Frozen'' and before '' Frozen II'', peace and prosperity has finally returned to the kingdom of Arendelle and Queen Elsa has decreed a Summer Snow Day for the merriment of the kingdom's citizens. Pixie Hollow
Pixie Hollow is a character meet and greet attraction at Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland, offering guests the opportunity to meet Tinker Bell and her friends from the Disney Fairies franchise, including: Vidia, Terrence, Fawn, Rosetta, Silvermist, Iridessa, and Periwinkle. The attraction is designed to create the illusion of gradually shrinking to Pixie size as the scenic elements in the queue increase in scale as guests approach Tinker Bell's teapot house. Disneyland Beneath the Pixie Hollow sign, guests can can spot a large block of concrete painted with "Go Away Green" paint, Disney's signature paint color that they use to make objects less noticeable to park guests. This area's cement is the last remaining footprint of the long-gone Monsanto House of the Future attraction, which resided in Disneyland's Tomorrowland from 1957 to 1967.
