Fantastic Beasts (film Series)
''Fantastic Beasts'' is a film series directed by David Yates, and a spin-off prequel to the ''Harry Potter'' novel and film series. The series is distributed by Warner Bros. and consists of three fantasy films as of 2022, beginning with ''Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'' (2016), and following with '' Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'' (2018) and '' Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore'' (2022). Following the 2001–11 ''Harry Potter'' film series, ''Fantastic Beasts'' marks the second film series in the Wizarding World shared universe media franchise. David Yates
David Yates (born 8 October 1963) is an English film director, producer and screenwriter, who has directed feature films, short films, and television productions. He is best known for directing the final four films in the ''Harry Potter'' series and the first three films of its prequel series, ''Fantastic Beasts''. His work on the ''Harry Potter'' series brought him critical and commercial success along with accolades, such as the British Academy Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing. Philippe Rousselot, (born 4 September 1945) is a French cinematographer and film director best known for his wide range of work in both European and mainstream American cinema, ranging in genres from drama, to fantasy, to blockbusters.
