Fanny Rubio
Francisca Rubio Gámez (born 18 October 1949), better known by the pseudonym Fanny Rubio, is a Spanish professor, researcher, and writer, an expert in contemporary Spanish poetry. Biography Born in Linares on 18 October 1949, Fanny Rubio began her university studies in Granada, then graduated in Hispanic Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1971. She earned a PhD in Romance Philology from the University of Granada in December 1975, with a doctoral thesis about poetry magazines in Francoist Spain. Linked to the University of Granada since 1971 as a research fellow, she went to Fez, Morocco with her husband, Bernabé López García, a specialist in Arab History and Culture, in 1974. Rubio taught two courses at the University of Al Quaraouiyine. In the 1976–77 academic year she was an adjunct professor hired by the National University of Distance Education (UNED) of Madrid. Elisa Serna (7 March 1943 – 4 September 2018) was a Spanish singer-songwriter, member of the avant-garde of protest song in Spain in the 1970s. Biography She began her artistic career integrating herself in the group ''Canción del pueblo'', in her native Madrid, along with singer-songwriters like Hilario Camacho. In 1970, through her friendship with "Las madres del cordero", she joined the independent theater group ''Tábano, during the performances of ''Castañuela 70'' at the Teatro de la Comedia in Madrid. Dulce Chacón
Dulce Chacón (3 June 1954 – 3 December 2003) was a Spanish poet, novelist and playwright. Biography Born into a traditional family in the Extremadura region of Spain, her family moved to Madrid upon her father's death, when she was 12 years old. In spite of growing up in a conservative family, Dulce Chacón soon became a leftist, due to the victims caused by the Spanish dictatorship. Her motto towards this issue was “neither bitterness nor oblivion”. Chacón started writing at an early age even though she did not publish until 1992 when her first book of poetry, ''Querrán ponerle nombre'', appeared. Carmen Alborch Bataller (31 October 1947 – 24 October 2018) was a Spanish politician, writer, and minister of culture.
